Help Underserved Students Take Byte out of STEM
Join ORT America in celebrating Giving Tuesday, a global day of giving. Help ignite a passion for science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) with the micro:bit, a microcomputer that teaches students coding, programming and robotics.
The micro:bit achieves macro impact in STEM skill-building by empowering students from under-resourced communities with the tools they need to succeed in the 21st-century job market. From fitness trackers to robots and digital clocks, fifth and sixth graders at the Moscow ORT Technology School have used the micro:bit to create fun and engaging projects. With increased access to the micro:bit, more ORT students will gain the opportunity to create interactive projects with limitless possibilities.
